Smallest crystal unit available in mass production

In our product portfolio, you find the world´s smallest crystal unit (dimensions: 1.6 x 1.2 x 0.35 mm max.) which is now available in mass production. This crystal unit, which is manufactured by our Japanese partner TEW, is available for frequencies from 26.0MHz up to 60.0MHz and is specifically designed for applications which require smallest dimensions and high accuracy. Possible applications: telemetry in medical applications, smartcards, RFID, NFC …

Due to the increasing number of components in the newest Mobile Phone /Smart phone designs with a high level of integrated functionality (WLAN, GPS, NFC etc.), smallest electronic devices are needed to meet and optimise the stringent space requirements (in particular low height).
